At your service
‘Coming to your Home ’ is part of our Community Work Programme, where our residents work alongside our team to support people in the community. This is therapeutic work - our residents learn practical skills, develop healthy work habits, and build the confidence and routine that come with meaningful activity. Through this process, they rebuild self-worth, hope, and resilience, preparing for employment in their chosen fields during the later stages of our programme.
Through our work programme, we are connecting with and supporting people in our community, which creates a sense of belonging and contribution, as well as meaning and purpose. Community members receive valuable help with tasks that can be difficult to manage alone – especially for elderly people, single mothers, and people with special needs.
Services we offer
Through Coming to your Home, we provide a range of practical services to the community:
-
Gardening: from weeding, pruning, and lawn mowing to planting and creating new garden beds.
-
Cleaning: whether it’s a big spring clean or smaller cleaning jobs, we are here to help. If you feel exhausted or overwhelmed, give us a call!
-
General assistance: including small household removals, minor repairs, and painting. We can give you a hand with many tasks you find difficult to do.
Our services are offered at reasonable rates, making them accessible to people on lower incomes, those with disabilities, or retirees. By providing affordable, reliable help, we make it easier for people to stay in their homes and maintain their independence, while giving our residents meaningful opportunities to grow and contribute.
